Re‐emergence of female pollinating fig wasps from figs after oviposition/pollination has recently become more common. I examined re‐emergence behavior of female pollinating fig wasps Blastophaga nipponica on gynodioecious fig trees Ficus erecta Thunb. Female fig wasps re-emerged much earlier from figs on female fig trees than on "male" trees. Re-emerged female fig wasps could pollinate another figs on female trees, but could not oviposit in another figs on "male" trees.
