Planning and creating better sound environment is becoming more important in living space. The purpose of the study is making a proposal to create a sound environment utilizing natural sounds at university.

To see the current sound environment at the university, hearing animal voices investigation was conducted from spring until late autumn. As a result, 17 species of birds and 12 species of insects were recorded.

Questionary investigation was carried out for students of Ryukoku University, Seta Campus. Questionnaire for 9 species, including Black Kite and Warblers, and set the 9 questioning items, which shall be evaluated seven levels by the SD method. 2 types of questionary form were prepared for one species to test that impression of the voice differ between adding and deleting the information about the animal and photo.

The impression of voice, especially Black Kite and Warblers was highly-praised by adding the information. Therefore the more students would be able to know about its information, the better campus life could be spent. To provide information, plates and posters may be placed.
