企画集会 T19 -- 3月18日 9:30-11:30 A会場
Plant-pollinator interactions have mainly been studied focusing on the relationships between specific species whereas the studies on interactions at the community scale and their ecological functions are restricted. As important subjects on the community-scale pollination ecology, pollination syndrome, pollination-network structure, phenological matching, and the crisis in pollination service are considerable. The structure of pollination system highly varies depending on ecosystems and climate, and it should be disturbed by climate change and land-use patterns, resulting in the degradation of the ecological function. In this organized session, we introduce recent studies on plant-pollinator interactions from various ecosystems, and discuss on the perspectives on future studies.
