Introduction
The presenter has developed eco-tours using canoes in Asahikawa, Okayama Prefecture.
In this announcement, a trial tour was conducted in Yoshii River to develop canoe eco-tours in Okayama Prefecture.
Method
The eco-tour was conducted in the lower reaches of the Yoshii River (Wake Bridge to Kumayama Bridge) in Wake-gun, Okayama Prefecture.
During the tour, presenters explained the natural environment by canoeing down the river.
Results
The presenter was able to explain the nature of the Yoshii River while on tour.
Tour participants were able to safely pass through rough spots on the course.
Discussion
We were able to deal with the rough spots because we had investigated them beforehand.
However, it was considered necessary to be careful because the situation of a rough spot changes according to the amount of water flowing through the river.
The trial showed that it was possible to conduct a canoe eco-tour on the Yoshii River.
