Regular Membership for low-income regular members
The Ecological Society of Japan (ESJ) offers a special discount of the regular membership fee for low-income members. If your application is accepted, you can be a regular member for the next year at a reduced rate, equivalent to paying a student membership fee.
Applicants need to satisfy the following requirements:
- Your annual income is less than 2,000,000 JPY according to the most recent exchange rate.
- You have already paid your regular membership fee for this year.
Applicants need to download an application form and a guarantee letter (MS Word files) from the ESJ homepage, fill them out, and send them to the ESJ Member Service Desk. A guarantee letter is not necessary if you send official proof of your annual income.
The deadline for next year’s membership application is October 31st of this year.
Note: This membership is not automatically renewed. Therefore, if we do not receive a new application form from you before the due date, you will be charged a regular membership fee.
