Childcare fee subsidy for conference participants of ESJ70
The 70th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Japan in Sendai will be held entirely online, except for some sessions including the award-winning lectures. As with last year, we will provide childcare support for conference participants through childcare fee subsidies.
We will support part of the childcare fees (the use of a sitter, temporary childcare at a nursery school, etc.) in the area where the conference participants live or in the area of the event venue (Sendai City and surrounding areas). It is necessary to apply in advance and submit a receipt for childcare fees.
Applicant
Conference participants of ESJ70 (regardless of weekdays or weekends. You can use it even if you are not a presenter.)
Even if you are not a member of ESJ, you can use it if you are invited to a symposium or forum as a presenter or commentator.
Applicable period
Childcare fees from March 17th (Friday) to March 21st (Tuesday) 2023
Subsidy amount
Subsidize half of the cost, but the upper limit per child is 5,000 yen per day. If you are also receiving a childcare subsidy from other organizations such as your affiliated institution, the childcare fee subsidy from ESJ will be half the amount after deducting the subsidy from the other organizations. There is no limit to the number of children. If the number of applications exceeds expectations, the subsidy amount may be reduced.
Application (in advance only)
The application will be accepted from January 17th (Tuesday) to 23:59 on February 20th (Monday) 2023. Please apply using this application form. Please note that you will not be able to receive a childcare subsidy without the advanced application.
We will send you an e-mail for confirmation after we received your application. If you do not receive a reply by the end of February, please contact the ESJ70 childcare staff (nursery@esj.ne.jp).
Submission of receipt
After the end of ESJ70, please prepare a receipt with usage details of childcare services (name, date, time, number of children). And then, please send the receipt image and your transfer account information by e-mail to nursery@esj.ne.jp by 23:59 on March 28th (Tuesday) 2023. Due to procedural difficulties, we will only accept accounts in Japan.
