The Oshima Award of the Ecological Society of Japan(ESJ Oshima Award) is awarded to ESJ members who have made outstanding contributions to ecology by conducting long-term ecological field studies.
Two awardees will be selected from applicants who are either self-nominated or have been recommended by other ESJ members. Recipients will be publicly recognized and receive a prize of 100,000 JPY at the ESJ annual meeting.
We request that nominations be made keeping in mind the aim of this award.
Nominees who have already received either the "ESJ Young Scholar Award (Suzuki Award) " or the "ESJ Miyadi Award" will be evaluated based on their research activities following the receipt of these past awards.
