植物社会学研究会－日本の植生分類体系の再編成に向けて－
Meeting for phytosociological research - Toward the reorganization of vegetation classification system -

森林から草原まで含む，日本の包括的な植生分類体系は24年前の宮脇ほか（1994）「日本植生便覧改訂版」以来刷新されていない．この間多くの新しい植生単位が公表された．整備が進む環境省の1/25,000現存植生図の凡例を含め，より完備された植生体系が必要とされている．
　現在，国際命名規約第３版（Weber et al 2000）などに基づき，植生体系の整理が進められている．本集会では整理を進めつつある植生体系の一部を発表戴き，今後のより整合性の高い体系の完備への１ステップとして議論を進めたい．また植物社会学的単位が用いられている環境省植生図の凡例の課題についても理解を深めたい．
