Please show your name tag, then you can choose one textbook available at the booth of Springer. They may want to take photos of EPA winners for advertisement.

If the above schedule is not convenient, please go to the Springer booth directly and ask them when you can receive a book. If EPA winners do not appear during the meeting, this opportunity will be lost.

賞の目的

　英語口頭発表の設立目的は、大会における英語による研究発表を振興し、留学生や国外からの参加者との議論の場をより多く作ることです。同時に、特に若手研究者のコミュニケーション能力と国際的情報発信力を高める機会を増やしたいと考えています。本賞は英語の流暢さなどの言語能力を競うものではありません。応募者には発表の学問的内容と発表技術や姿勢を競っていただき、優れた発表と判断されたものに英語口頭発表賞を授与します。

応募資格および方法

  • 日本生態学会の会員で、学生（学部、修士課程、博士課程）または2019年3月時点で学位取得後5年以内の若手研究員であること。なお、育児/介護休暇はこの5年間に含みません。過去の英語口頭発表賞の受賞者も応募可能です。
  • ESJ66から、英語口頭発表賞部会が独自で行っていた事前登録がなくなります。英語口頭発表賞の登録も他の口頭発表やポスター発表と同じプロセスを経ることになります。詳しい情報は大会公式ホームページをご覧ください。
  • 発表は質疑応答3分間を含む15分間です。口頭説明の言語は英語ですが、発表スライドは英語または和英併記とします。
  • 受賞者には日本生態学会から賞状と Springerより副賞として本が贈呈されます。
  • 英語口頭発表賞の登録は他の口頭発表やポスター発表と同様に、大会申込サイトから行ってください（10月初旬頃稼働の予定）。

  • 2018年10月31日23:59（日本時間）まで：会員入会手続き、大会参加および口頭発表の申込み
    非会員の方は入会手続き（学会費納入は大会開催日まで）を行ってください。詳しい情報は入会手続きを参照してください。
  • 2019年2月13日23:59まで：講演要旨の登録
  • 発表当日の12:00まで：発表用ファイルの提出

審査基準

  • 各発表分野に数人の審査員が割り当てられます。
  • すべての発表は研究の質(50%)と発表の質（50%）を審査され、採点されます。
  • 各発表分野で得点を集計し、原則としてそれぞれの分野の1位と2位の講演者に最優秀賞と優秀賞が与えられます。
